Focus on Financial Services

Tony Rawlinson, managing director of the Financial Services Advisory practice in Europe and Asia Pacific, has more than 25 years of business process outsourcing (BPO), IT outsourcing (ITO) and global service delivery expertise. He has a proven ability to identify and implement new strategies to improve business performance.

Formerly, Tony was a partner at TPI, where he was responsible for the Europe, Middle East and Africa retail, corporate and wholesale banking sector. He has also served as client executive and managing director for EDS in check-processing operations in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and as head of financial services for Siemens Business Services (SBS) UK.

At Business and Technology Associates, Tony supported the establishment of an IT services joint venture between an Irish Bank and a U.S. service provider and advised on the global insourcing of IT services and applications management for a global auto manufacturer.

During his banking career, Tony managed global improvement and restructuring programs, data center consolidations and strategic service provider renegotiations, leading several ITO and BPO initiatives which resulted in a major reduction of IT services and back-office costs.

Tony lives near Horsham, West Sussex, in the UK, is married to Rachel and has three children. He spends his leisure time in the West of Ireland, Sardinia and France and enjoys wine, good food and playing and watching sports.
