Sourcing as strategic change mechanism
As principal consultant, Paul is responsible for selling, delivering, coaching and managing EquaTerra's Information Technology teams and their assignments in the Netherlands. He believes that sourcing can be a strategic tool to help companies create value, flexibility and transparency in the relationships they have with both internal and external IT providers.
In his 22 years of experience in the ICT and facility business, Paul has proven to be a very result-oriented and focused manager and dealmaker. He is able to motivate teams and providers to meet ambitious targets and planning.
Paul started his outsourcing career in the early 1990's at PTT Post Print & Mail (today TNT), where he built up significant operational and strategic sourcing experience in various roles including managing director and COO. From there, Paul moved on to Managing Director of the Outsourcing entity of Siemens in the Netherlands. His main targets there were consolidation and transformation of the datacenter and workplace services activities.
Paul earned a business degree In Economics at the HES in Amsterdam in 1985 and followed an extensive Advanced Management Program at Nijenrode University in Breukelen in 2000-2001. He has four children and lives in the center of the Netherlands.
